These are the things that Bataan Gov. Jose Enrique S. Garcia III wants to pursue with the implementation of Universal Health Care law.

In his message at the regular Monday flag-raising ceremony, the governor said he wants to resume the “Hataw-Takbo” fun run exercise which was suspended during the pandemic.

He said the healthy lifestyle program shall be implemented in public schools. Gov. Garcia urged everyone to avail of Philhealth services under the UHC program.

“Wala naman pong bayad ang pagpapacheckup. Prevention is better than cure,” he pointed out.

Likewise, he expressed gratitude to various organizations for having committed to UHC program.
